How to edit quotas after launch
To edit a quota post-launch:
- Go to the quota section.
- Open the actions menu (⋯).

From there, you can:
- Update targets
- Modify conditions
- Delete or duplicate quotas
Some things to keep in mind if you’re going to make changes mid-study:
- Quotas tied to screener questions may limit screener edits.
- If quotas use screener questions, you cannot edit the screener version until quotas are removed.
- To work around this, you can tag participants who meet the criteria, remove your screener-based quota, update the screener, and then recreate the quota using tags & a new screener.
- Plan ahead if you expect to iterate on your screener.
How to toggle automations on or off
To toggle automations on or off:
- Navigate to Research Design in your project builder.
- Open the Participant number & incentives tab.
- Scroll to Define quota targets.
- Select your quota and toggle on “Prevent scheduling or task start when quota is full.”
Note that turning on automations only affects new participants, and existing scheduled participants are not impacted. Turning off automations stops gating for future participants, and existing waitlisted participants remain unchanged.
